I'm really looking forward to the sequel.

Also on the note of the film, the last scene - and the musical accompaniment that went with it... It was just beautiful!

I love it so much! Kristen Stewart does a really good job in this compared to Twilight Smile

Agreed! This time, she actually acts. Razz It makes a massive difference, and her being the protagonist, it can have an impact on the film as a whole, so glad she did a good job. Let's hope she keeps it up for the sequel.

I saw some of that being filmed when I did my work experience at a company based in Pinewood Studios (where some of it was filmed). They'd erected a massive castle-front near the entrance, and whenever I went out and about in the week I was there, there were loads of people in armour just casually wandering round. It was quite weird really, but the people where I worked said you get used to it after a while Razz

This is a picture someone's taken of it. I was told you weren't allowed to take pictures with all the copyright, spoilers and such, but this person obviously did:

When I was there, the construction had moved on a bit and they'd put up a massive greenscreen where those coloured crate things are surrounding it. As you can see, they placed it oddly right by the main roundabout at the entrance. Evidently that didn't interfere with the filming, and if I recall correctly they had barriers around it to stop people getting in the way.
Even weirder when you compare it to how it appears in the film:

To think, only that tiny section at the front is actually real!

But yes, I was so grateful to get to go there for week, and it was a fantastic experience, if a little odd at times

I haven't seen the film yet, although I may go and see it just to try and spot the bits that I saw filmed!

I was dragged into seeing this by a friendship group. Not a bad film but not my type by a long shot, wouldn't go out of my way to see it again!

I will never see anything with Kristen Stewart in it. She's a horrible actress and a horrible person.

She's not a horrible actress in this.

Must say, quite an unfair prejudgement.

Yeah, well, I'm a very judgmental person. Deal with it. Kristen Stewart will always be a horrible actress and a horrible person. I could use some other words to describe her but they're not appropriate for this forum.

Back on the topic of Snow White and the Huntsman without making uncivil comments in regards to the actors - I'm considering watching this for a third time tomorrow afternoon. 8)

I found her acting to be pretty bad in this too. (never saw Twilight) She seems to only have one facial expression. Looks like she is always smelling something bad.

Not sure if I can say I liked the movie overall; but I did enjoy the design work and special effects in the movie.
